All families are required to sign up for a work bond assignment when registering for the Spring and Fall seasons. Since Holbrook Little League is a community organization we rely on the families of our members to assist in a few key areas. We require one work bond assignment per family per season. Each family has the option to buy out their work bond obligation for $100.
Once you are given a Work Bond Date, it is your responsibility to fulfill your obligation. Your Work Bond Checks will be returned to you upon completion of your shift. If you fail to work your shift, your $200.00 check will be cashed. In cases of games being canceled due to inclement weather or unplayable field conditions, you will be notified in advance if possible and your duty will be rescheduled.
If you have a conflict, you must notify the League one week in advance, but it is your obligation to get someone to switch with you, or get someone to work for you. No reminder calls will be made.
Work bond assignments can include helping in one of the following areas:
- Snack stand
- Field crew
- Garbage pick up
- Special events
